Re: templates

Also I'm to use templets a lot and they do not save the le'u words in the annt.
Do you mean you want the annotation information saved in the template(.pxt) file?
What do you mean by "le'u" words?

Installer issues

This is the first I have heard of problems with the installer. Some people had download problems but were able to install OK once they repeated the download. If you are consistently getting a failure after repeating the download then please let me know. If I can reproduce a failure then I would be h...

RE: Rinchen pung shad

Thank you Bj. After several off-line emails with Bj, I believe I understand the question. The situation is where a line has a shad-space-shad sequence and the first shad needs to be converted to a Rinchen pung shad. The question is whether the second shad should also be converted. Some people say th...

RE: Rinchen pung shad

with the Auto Rin-shed ON- and you have monlam that you use a shed at the start and finish of every line, when it calls for a Rin-shed then Pechamaker puts two -- one a finish and then one at start of next line. This one at the start of the next line, is not correct. It should be a plain shed. Hmm,...

RE: Rinchen pung shad

Hi Bj, you are the first person to mention it. This is not good... I would definitely like to fix it. If you could you please send me a .pxp file that has this problem then I will take a look. Please include a note to say exactly which line has the problem. Are you seeing this problem on version 1.8...

Status: Sambhota font and keymap support

There are still delays in getting the code together to add support for the Sambhota keyboard. I still hope to have this at some point. I apologize for the long delay. But please be aware that PechaMaker version 1.8 fully supports the display of Dedris/Ededris and Bod-Yig fonts for text, anno...

longitudinal Pecha (setting Landscape mode)

Hello Dave, I think you are asking how to set the paper orientation so the width will be more than the length. To do that you use the File>Page and Printer Setup menu item to open the Page Setup dialog. Look for the Orientation control and set it for Landscape. Does this answer your question? Cheers...

Keyman with PechaMaker

Hello Dave, PechaMaker only supports one Tibetan keyboard, the TCC1 keyboard. It is applied automatically anytime you type in one of the typefaces (font sets) from Tibetan Computing Company (TCC). See the FAQ page for a list of those typefaces. You can disable this automatic TCC1 mapping with the "F...

images on pecha pages

Yes, what I ment was that the image would be small, just the height of a line. This would be required if the image is "attached" to the text. Having a fixed amount of space on the left or right of a page is a good idea. If I set it up so you give a page number at the time you "add" the image, you wo...

Pecha boxes printed in color

Hi BJ,
OK, I'll try to add support for colored box lines in the next release.

As for embedded images, I created a new topic and moved the discussion of your question about images over to it; see images on pecha pages.

images on pecha pages

Hi BJ, In answer to the question you asked about inline images in another post: I was also wanting to ask if you know of a way that we can add yidam or lama pictures to the fancy pages. I have yet to seen a pecha program that lets us do this outside of cut and paste on hard-copies. Have you thought ...
